Whistleblower Protection Policy

SUBJECT TO PROTECTION

• We would not disclose or imply the identity of whistleblower or any information from which the identity of such a person (whistleblower) can be inferred without his or her consent.
• Evidence provided by a whistleblower, information obtained in relation to the whistleblower’s report, information from which the identities of involved parties can be inferred, actions taken as a result of a report, and all information of such sensitive nature are kept entirely confidential.
• In the process of investigation, we will make every effort to protect those who coordinate with the investigator in line with LOTTE’s policies

DETAILS OF PROTECTION

• Information on whistleblowers made is managed as restricted information. Our reporting system is thoroughly secured.
• Disciplinary or legal action is taken against individuals and/or parties (whistleblower included) who share any information regarding whistleblowing report, investigation progress or from which it can be inferred to other third parties.
• In cases where the whistleblower is subject to unfavorable measures or retaliation as a result of a whistleblowing report, LOTTE Mart shall take appropriate actions immediately in line with law as well as LOTTE’s policy to ensure his/her legitimate rights and interests.
• Whistleblower who reports a non-compliance practice involving himself/herself are considered extenuating reasonably or even be not subject to any disciplinary measures in certain circumstances.
